Good trip, smooth process

I booked a Kerala tour package for my family last month. The website was pretty easy to use. Everything went smoothly, from picking the package to making the payment. We had a great time there. No surprises. It was a good overall experience.

Decent package, some delivery issues

I booked a Dubai tour package for December. The booking process on the site was clear, and I got a good deal with an HDFC bank offer. I received the booking confirmation promptly. However, the travel documents took 5 days to reach my home in Delhi, which was a bit slower than I expected. When I called customer service about the delay, they were helpful and tracked it for me. The actual package itself was well-organized, and the hotel was good. Overall, a solid experience but delivery could be faster.

Amazing Maldives package!

I just got back from a Maldives honeymoon package and it was incredible! The whole trip was perfectly planned. Every detail, from the flights to the hotel, was fantastic. My partner and I had such a memorable time. I will definitely book with them again for our next vacation. Recommended to everyone!

Fair value, slow visa processing

I used Thomas Cook for a Schengen visa service and a Europe tour package. The package price was quite competitive, especially with a seasonal discount. The itinerary for the Europe tour was comprehensive and covered all the main spots. However, the visa processing took longer than the estimated time, which made me a bit nervous about my travel dates. I had to follow up multiple times to get updates. Customer support was polite but couldn't speed up the process much. The tour itself was well-managed, and the tour manager was very helpful. Good value, but be prepared for potential visa delays.

Quick question about their holiday packages, are they generally customizable? Like, if I wanna add an extra day or swap a hotel, is that usually an option?

C Colin 2 months ago
Yeah, they totally do custom itineraries. I got them to tweak a few things for my Kerala trip last year, it was pretty straightforward.

Depends on the package I think. Group tours are probably less flexible, but for private or custom ones, usually they let you change stuff around. Just ask before booking, they're usually cool with it.

Hey, thinking of booking a honeymoon package to Maldives with Thomas Cook. Anyone used them recently? Just wondering if the packages are actually good value or if I should just DIY it with flights and hotels separate.

Yeah, I booked a Europe trip with them last year. Found their packages pretty decent, especially if you're not super keen on planning every little thing yourself. They bundle a lot.

Hmm, I think it depends. For Maldives, sometimes you can snag better deals directly with resorts, especially if you're flexible on dates. But for an all-in-one, TC is usually hassle-free. Just check what's included vs. what you'd spend on your own.
